| Description | A weekly drop-in centre, providing women of all walks of life with a safe, welcoming and dignified environment. The centre fosters a non-judgmental environment that accepts women exactly the way they are and provides a space for them to meet friends from the past and make new friends for the future. Provides practical services and assistance to women who would like it. Free services include: clothing exchange/closet; clothing alterations; shampoo and haircuts; coffee, snacks and a hot lunch; monthly craft corner; special events; access to a telephone; play corner for pre-school children (parent supervised). The Plentiful Pantry provides small portion food items and household products at a suggested small donation. |
