DescriptionSOUL is a FREE outreach ministry providing structured activities (such as music, crafts and drama) and fellowship opportunities (during coffee/snack time) for adults who have disabilities. 
 
Family Support And Staff Partnership:  
The success of the program depends heavily on a strong partnership with family and support staff who are responsible for:  
~ Transportation of clients to and from the program  
~ Care for clients physical and personal needs and encouragement of each client to participate and display appropriate social behaviours  
~ Engage clients in music by helping them stand (if possible), singing along and participating in action songs  
~ Assist SOUL staff with clients who participate in upfront activities during Wednesday choir and MAD Fridays.  
~ Encourage clients to make choices and express their creativity during craft time, assisting them with exercising fine motor skills  
~ Promote friendships and socialization between clients.  
 
By special permission of the SOUL staff, some clients may be permitted to attend without support staff.
