Creative Counselling offers alternate treatment approaches for children, youth, and adults through the use of creative methodologies such as art, sand, play, and therapeutic games focused counselling. Creative Counselling provides a play room, art room, and therapeutic games area with specialized equipment, toys, and activities. These items have been carefully selected to encourage creativity and natural behaviours providing opportunity for optimal observation and assessment.  
 
Trauma and attachment focused counselling is available in group or individual formats to address the impact of various events such as abuse, loss, attachment, exposure to domestic violence and other traumatic events.

Lori Gill, Certified Trauma Specialist and associates are offering a 10-session workshop for parent and caregivers focusing on learning the keys to forming a healthy attachment with their child.

2013 Trauma and Attachment Conference 
Awareness, Regulation, and Healing  
The Attachment and Trauma Treatment Centre for Healing (ATTCH) is holiding it's 1st annual Trauma and Attachment Conference on October 7 & 8, 2013. 
 
The focus is on that of raising awareness regarding trauma and attachment and it's impact on human development and laying the blueprint for later life relations; on learning how to regulate the impact of these, and how to promote healing and resiliency.  
 
This workshop is ideal for helping professionals (of all disciplines and target ages), parents, caregivers, and foster parents.  
 
Key Note speakers include Dr. Daniel Siegel (author of the Whole Brained Child and Parenting from the Inside Out) & Dr. Cathy Malchiodi (author of Trauma-Informed Practices with Children and Adolescents and Creative Interventions with Traumatized Children).
