DescriptionThe coalition is an independent association of volunteers, professionals and members of the public whose goal is to help increase the number of mothers choosing to breastfeed their infants. In pursuit of this goal, the coalition will strive to: provide accurate, consistent information to the community in order to help women successfully establish and continue to breastfeed their infants for as long as possible; Establish a cooperative network of support for breastfeeding families from a variety of community resources; and promote awareness and acceptance of breastfeeding as a normal part of everyday life.
