| Description | Avanti Chamber Singers is a community-based mixed chamber choir performing mainstream choral literature, both accompanied and a cappella, with emphasis on Canadian, and especially Niagara-based, composers. Repertoire varies widely and includes madrigals, motets, anthems, partsongs, arrangements (folksongs, spirituals, popular songs) and short extended works. | |||

| Eligibility | Ages: 21 year(s) and up All interested individuals with choral experience, a secure singing voice and music reading ability. | |||
| Languages | English ; Performance of some choral works in other languages, including ecclesiastical Latin, French, German, other European languages, etc. | |||
| Application | Call for details. Auditions are available year round but are typically scheduled in early fall, early winter and late spring. No preparation is necessary. Potential choristers will meet with the conductor to perform O Canada, some vocal exercises and a simple music reading test. | |||
