DescriptionCAN is a not-for-profit, non-partisan, community based organization committed to providing opportunities for education and actions on issues relating to climate change. 
 
Programs include:  
Niagara Green - reintroduction of native species, education 
Niagara Community Garden Network currently in St. Catharines, Welland, Fort Erie, and upcoming Port Colborne, Brock, Crystal Beach, Thorold, Vineland 
CAN/ACER partnership for school yard greening 
No Idling zones 
Active Transit and Trails 
School Scapes Eco Workshops and Schoolground Greening 
Food preservation and canning workshops 
Symposiums - Local Food, Food Security, Climate Change and the Urban Canopy, etc. 
Individual Presentations
Supplementary DescriptionProviding opportunities for climate change mitigation and adaptation.
