| Description | The Education Foundation is the charity serving the District School Board of Niagara in areas of special project funding, poverty and emergency relief and student achievement awards. Registered charity #11905 7586 RR0001. The EFN raises funds through donations private, corporate, project funding, partnerships and events. The EFN has a variety of endowments for projects, poverty and adopted schools. Poverty and Emergency Relief Fund: supports emergency, personal or school-related needs of individual students facing financial hardship. Prom Project Niagara: EFN matches young people with formal wear needs at a one day event to ensure all students get to their proms, formals, graduations and other special events in stylish clothing. This year Prom Project day is Saturday May 11th at Thorold Secondary School 9:30 am - 2:00 pm and at Beamsville Secondary School 9:30 am - 2:00 pm. No pre-registration necessary. | |||
