DescriptionLicensed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and federally by Canadian Wildlife Service as a Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre providing professional care and rehabilitation for orphaned, injured, and sick native wildlife in Niagara. Licensed for all species (birds, mammals, animals and reptiles). Native wildlife is released back to its habitat, when it has recovered. Not for profit, non government funded wildlife rehabilitation centre depends solely on donations from the public. Also operates a sanctuary for unwanted parrots, birds, and other exotic mammals, birds or reptiles. Non-native exotic animals are given permanent sanctuary here. Not open for public tours, not a zoo. Native wildlife education speaking presentations are available for schools or community groups - donation based. Presentations catered to needs of group.
