DescriptionThe Fridge and Freezer Pickup Program offers free pickup and recycling of old, inefficient refrigerators and freezers that can cost up to $125 per year in electricity to operate.  
 
To qualify, you must have a full-sized refrigerator or freezer that is: 
 
•20 years of age or older 
•between 10-27 cubic feet 
•in working condition (plugged in 24 hrs prior to pick up) 
 
Plus, if you have at least one fridge or freezer collected, they will also pick up your old qualifying window air conditioners and dehumidifiers.

EligibilityEligible appliances within this program include a refrigerator or freezer that is located in a single dwelling home, a townhouse, or a duplex, triplex or fourplex, or in an apartment or condominium that is over three stories. The item must be at least 20 years old; in working condition (plugged in 24 hrs prior to pick up); and between 10 and 27 cubic feet. 
 
Window air conditioners and dehumidifiers (10 years or older, and in working condition) will also be collected in conjunction with eligible fridge and/or freezer pickups.
