DescriptionProvides services to the consumers of the mental health system who have a desire to return to work, re-think career goals, perform volunteer service, upgrade schooling, and improve life skills.  
 
* offers real work not sheltered * focus on career choices based on interests * work skills evaluation * personal, one to one support * help with the employers training and academic programs 
 
Offers information on the labour market, occupations, employers, workplace and social issues, job search, education and training programs, starting a business * access to telephones, fax, photocopier and the Internet. 
 
Ontario Employment Assistance Services (OEAS) – employment services to unemployed people * may include labour market information, employment needs assessment, career planning, employment counselling, diagnostic assessment, job search skills, job finding clubs, job placement services, developing an employment action plan, referral to appropriate intervention, and participant case management and follow-up

Ontario Employment Assistance Services (OEAS) -- project activities tend to focus on service to individuals with disabilities, though all unemployed people 18 years and over working less than 20 hours per week and legally entitled to work in Canada are eligible * it is best to call the service provider first to find out how the service is tailored and what selection criteria apply
