DescriptionThe Centre provides a range of professional counselling and support programs to individuals, couples, families or groups who are experiencing personal, social or work problems which are contributing to marital or family difficulties.  
COUNSELLING AND THERAPY offers individual, couple or family therapy depending on the issue. Also offers group therapy that brings together people who are dealing with a common problem such as separation, sexual abuse or anger management. Parenting concerns ~ marital or sexual problems ~ depression ~ stress ~ abuse ~ aging ~ work problems ~ motor vehicle accident recovery ~ trauma ~ grief ~ separation or divorce issues.  
FAMILY VIOLENCE AND CHILD WITNESS PROGRAMS ("For Me and My Mom" and "Side by Side")focus mainly on children who have witnessed family violence and mothers who have been in violent relationships and have concerns around parenting.  
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS (EAP) provides counselling and therapy service to companies who have a commitment to the emotional and mental health of their employees.  
ADULT PROTECTIVE SERVICES (APSW) assists residents of Niagara, 18 years and over, who have a developmental disability and who live independently in the community. This service may also provide consultive support to families by agreement of the client. The program promotes independence, autonomy, encourages health growth and development, enhances quality of life and overall well being. It also promotes client advocacy to help ensure the clients' rights are respected and that they receive all necessary services.  
PARTNER ASSAULT RESPONSE PROGRAM (PAR) (region wide) 
Provides education and counselling services to individuals convicted or found guilty of a criminal offence against a current or former partner, as well as information and support to the victims of these crimes. Non court ordered men may also participate 
Also offers: 
CRITICAL INCIDENT STRESS MANAGEMENT SERVICES: for adults who have experienced critical incidents in the workplace.  
WALK IN COUNSELLING CLINIC single session, drop-In Counselling Service at the Community Resource Centre at 5017 Victoria Ave. The service is open Tue & Thu from 1:30-4pm. For more information about the service call 905-937-7731 Ext 3345. All Niagara Falls Residents welcome. 
FAMILY AND KINSHIP SUPPORT SERVICES - a psychoeducation and support group for foster parents and kinship caregivers of children who are, or suspected of having Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. 
FAMILY GROUP CONFERENCING - an alternative dispute resolution program helping families develop plans which address the concerns raised by a Children's Aid Society 
CARING DADS - A program to help fathers improve their relationships with their children and end controlling, abusive, and neglectful behaviour.
