| Description | The Society holds informative monthly meetings, which include horticultural displays and design competitions. We hold our annual Rose, Flower and Vegetable Shows for the public and conduct a fund raising Spring Plant Sale event in May and a Garden Walk in July. Members enjoy interesting speakers, a monthly newsletter, a yearbook, email notice of upcoming events, discounts at local nurseries, floral design seminars, help with gardening problems and informal "members only" garden strolls throughout the year. Our fundraising efforts support many community projects. In addition to plantings, we sponsor the Summer Trillium Best Neighbourhood Awards, the "Schools in Bloom" program, an annual scholarship with the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture, and an annual scholarship with Niagara College. |
