| Description | Licenced by the Ministry of Transportation, the services of the Drive Test Centre include: vision test, knowledge test, schedule road test appointments, change class of driver's licence, downgrade a driver's licence class, reinstate driver's licence with test requirement, apply for original Driving Instructor's licence, remove the requirement to wear corrective lenses, add or remove a licence condition or endorsement, accept medical report, exchange driver's licence issued from other provinces or countries, initiate criminal record searches for school bus licences and Driving Instructor licences, purchase Handbooks, accept payments for Fail to Keep Appointment fee, refund applications. For information specific to senior drivers 80 year of age and over, check the MTO website for current information. Seniors must now renew their licence every two years, by taking a vision test, a written test and participating in a Group Education Session. Some drivers may be asked to take a road test. Instructions will be mailed approximately 90 days before their licence expires. |
