DescriptionThe Salvation Army will provide assistance to those in need. Clothing and furniture is provided to singles and families on a priority basis when available. Emergency Food assistance is provided 6 times a year per household. A listening ear is always available.  
WORSHIP SERVICE - held Sundays at 10:30 am. 
SANTA ANONYMOUS - where individuals can donate toys at barrels located at various businesses and Fire Stations throughout the city as well as at the Salvation Army on Dorchester. Registration - to receive food and/or toys, individuals must register (with proper documents) in person. Starting November 17. 
SANTA BREAKFAST - Great chance for the kids to enjoy a free breakfast and meet Santa on Saturday December 3, 2011. Please call 905-358-8394 for tickets. 
ANGER MANAGEMENT - a program available to all who are interested. The program runs for one Friday and 2 Saturdays, and will help all present understand anger, and more effectively deal with their emotional life and conflict situations where anger often arises. A certificate is received upon successful completion of the course. Please call for more details.  
SUPPORT GROUPS/SEMINARS - There will be various support groups available at times throughout the year as well as seminars on subjects such as finances/budgeting and parenting skills. Call for details. 
RED CAP (CHILDREN'S ANGER MANAGEMENT) - an anger management program for Children ages 9-13. Held in various schools in Niagara Falls. 
SUMMER CAMP - every summer the organization sends a limited number of children to the summer camp program. The camp is usually in Jul or Aug and is open to qualified applicants. Please call for details. 
"GIVE A KID A COAT" Program - Individuals can drop off coats at the local fire stations. Collection of coats, mittens, scarves, will be accepted. Distribution: Tue and Thu from 9:30 am-3 pm. Contact Captains Mike or Karen Puddicombe for more information.  
SCHOOL SUPPLIES START UP - If a family has checked with their school and there are no school supplies for them, they can call this agency to see if they can help. There may be limited back to school supplies available. 
DONATIONS - Food donations accepted at 5720 Dorchester Rd or Thrift Store on Dunn Street. Monetary Donations accepted 5720 Dorchester Rd or Thrift Store. 
STREET OUTREACH TRUCK provides food, counselling and referrals for those in need. Please check out the blog at Niagara Mobile Outreach or call the office for scheduled times.
