| Description | The LINC Home Study program is a special program for LINC-eligible students who cannot attend regular classes. Such clients include women on maternity leave from classroom LINC program, those whose children are too young for the LINC child-minding program, and those with health issues, employment scheduling conflicts, or lack of available transportation to classes. It is also suited for clients who live outside the service area of regular classroom LINC programs. Students will have the option to take the program by correspondence (with books and CDs) or via computer(online access to materials). Each student will be assigned to a TESL-certified LINC teacher who will maintain weekly contact and guide the student's progress. Individuals can contact their nearest LINC assessment centre to determine eligibility for the LINC Home Study program.
