DescriptionIn-Patient and Out-Patient services: 24-hour Emergency and Urgent Care, General Medical/Surgical, Anaesthesia, Paediatrics, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Radiology, Pathology, Palliative and Oncology Care, Medical Day Stay and Mental Health. Also provides facilities for vascular surgery, cardiology, otolaryngology, orthopaedic surgery, plastic surgery, gastroenterology and respiratory diseases. Specialized diagnostic and treatment services include Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Special Procedures (Angiograms and Myelograms). 
 
Outpatient Clinics include the Heart Function Clinic, Adult and Children's Asthma Clinic, Outpatient Oncology Clinic, Lung Diagnostic Assessment Program, Orthopedic Clinic, Pre-Admission Clinic, Pain Clinic, Minor Procedures Clinic, Endoscopy and the following: 
 
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Clinic -- an out-patient program for patients who have Chronic Bronchitis, Emphysema, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Asthma or Bronchiectasis. Contact 905-378-4647 ext 46295, Monday-Friday 8 am-4 pm. 
 
Ontario Breast Screening Program -- a breast screening and assessment service for women 50 years of age and older. No referral necessary but appointment required. Contact 905-378-4647 ext 46345. 
 
Colorectal Screening Program -- a colorectal cancer screening program for men and women over the age of 50 who have a positive FOBT or first degree relative with a history of colorectal cancer. A referral from a family doctor is required and can be sent to the central fax line at 905-397-2323. 
 
Mother - Baby Support Centre -- provides breastfeeding support and information on infant care. Rental depot for Egnell brand breast pumps. Contact 905-378-4647 ext 43223, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8 am-4 pm * Wednesday 9 am-1 pm. 
 
Sexual Assault Domestic Violence Treatment Centre Niagara -- a regional service based at the hospital, provides medical care and follow-up care to victims of sexual assault or domestic violence. Contact 905-378-4647 ext 45300, Monday-Sunday 24-hours. 
 
Volunteer Resources -- More than 1100 Volunteers support the work of NHS Hospitals with patient care, fundraising, and customer service roles. Interested applicants can learn more and apply online at www.niagarahealth.on.ca or call ext. 44205
