| Description | Inpatient Services Complex Care (Chronic): 46 beds providing hospital-based services for clients with complex or chronic conditions requiring continuing interdisciplinary care and professional medical management. Outpatient Services Urgent Care Centre -- Provides non-emergency care for a wide range of minor illnesses and injuries, including cuts that require stitches, sprains, ear infections, etc. Onsite laboratory and x-ray services are available. Open Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day. Ontario Breast Screening Program -- A breast screening and assessment service for women 50 years of age and older. No referral necessary, but an appointment is required. Please call 905-835-5842. Niagara Diabetes Centre, Port Colborne satellite location -- Provides diabetes counselling/education either in group or individual appointment formats for newly diagnosed and established diabetes. Specialty programs are also offered for paediatrics, pregnancy and insulin pumps. All appointments are booked through the main office in Welland via telephone at 905-682-4200 or fax 905-682-3622. Program access requires physician referral. General information can be accessed via NDC@niagarahealth.on.ca. New Port Centre -- The New Port Centre, located at the Port Colborne General Site, operates a 35-bed inpatient addiction program, the Eating Disorders Day Treatment program, an Outpatient Hepatitis C Care Clinic and the Niagara Methadone Clinic. Please see separate listing page for the New Port Centre for further details. Outpatient clinics include: General Medical/Surgical Clinic, Orthopaedic, Urology, Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology.
