DescriptionProvides transportation to medical appointments; maintains a food bank to provide food assistance; sponsors child/youth for sport and recreational activities; assistance to families who suffer loss due to fire or other catastrophes and occasional; short-term emergency accommodation. Referral to other agencies if unable to assist. 
 
The Pelham Snow Angel Program is a volunteer snow removal service. This program consists of snow/ice removal by volunteers from municipal sidewalks and windrows left by snow plows at the driveway entrance of qualified persons. It does not include driveways to the home. It is available to those who are in receipt of Ontario Disability, have an Accessible Parking Pass or a completed Physician's Statement. Applications can be obtained in person at the Town of Pelham, 20 Pelham Town Sq. or at Pelham Cares office. Also online through Pelham Cares website or by calling either the Town of Pelham at 905-892-2607 ext 332 or Pelham Cares.
