DescriptionA community based children's mental health agency providing a continuum of treatment and support to children and youth, from birth to 18th birthday, and their families in the Niagara Region * a non-profit charitable agency operating under the Child and Family Services Act, is accredited by Children's Mental Health Ontario and is governed by a community based board of directors. Funding is primarily provided by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services, the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, and the Regional Municipality of Niagara. 
 
There are no charges for the following services: 24-hours Crisis Services, Assessment, Counselling, Outreach, High Risk, Youth Justice, Day Treatment, Early Years, and Residential Services.  
 
There are a limited number of programs that use volunteers. Individuals interested in volunteering should contact the office.

EligibilityChildren 18 years and younger and their families. Parents or guardians may ask for service for their children up to the age of 18. Adolescents under 12 need their parent's permission to receive counselling, those aged 12 to 18 can receive counselling without their parent's knowledge or consent. Those 12 or older may refuse service.
