| Description | School Health nurses work with schools and community agencies to promote optimal health among the youth of Niagara. School communities choose from a 'Menu of Service' which includes resources, consultation services, and curriculum supports for staff, students and parents. Health promotion programs primarily address the issues of: healthy eating, physical activity, tobacco and substance use prevention, injury prevention and personal safety, healthy growth and development, sexual health, parenting issues and Triple P parenting classes.
