| Description | A long term care home comprised of 160 beds, licenced by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, providing a variety of services including: * nursing and personal care on a 24-hour basis, including medication administration and assistance with activities of daily living * medical care available 24 hours a day * three meals daily with snacks between meals, special and therapeutic diets and dietary supplements * assistive devices to promote independence; supplies and equipment necessary for the provision of medical, nursing and personal care * social, recreational activities and therapeutic programs. The facility offers personal suites with private bathrooms, suites for couples, private family dining room, spacious lounges, intimate dining rooms in each resident home area, town square with fireplace and cappuccino bar, climate controlled environment, chapel and celebration room, companionship of pets, wheelchair accessible van for resident outings, intergenerational program with the YMCA licensed children's daycare on premises. The following are optional services: hairdressing and barber services, dentist/denturist, optometrist, foot care services, telephone and cable TV, newspaper delivery, other miscellaneous services. | |||
