| Description | Provides assessment and therapy to children with physical,developmental and/or communicative (speech and language) disabilities. Services provided include: physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech/language pathology and augmentative communication. Preschool programs for children with physical disabilities and/or speech and language impairment. Special Services At Home for physically disabled children, Medical clinics for children registered: Orthopaedic, Paediatric, Developmental Paediatrics, Gait Analysis Clinic, Splinting and Casting Clinic, Seating Clinic. Niagara Preschool Speech and Language Service System, known as SSNiagara, offers assistance if an individual feels their infant or child is having trouble learning to talk. The Centre is the central intake for all referrals for preschool speech and language services for the Niagara Region. For information about OT/PT/SLP therapy services for children with special needs contact Manager of Infant and Preschool Services at Ext 200 or Manager of School Aged Services and Clinics at Ext 130.
