DescriptionProvides shelter for women and children experiencing abuse. Services include: 24-hour crisis lines, counselling for women and children who are or have been abused, emotional support, empowerment programs, development of safety plans, support groups, child and youth programs, transitional and housing support programs, legal support and advocacy program, public education programs, outreach counselling and education, accompaniment to court and various legal appointments, assistance with financial concerns and referrals. Program and service delivery is available on an in-shelter or outreach basis.

ApplicationWomen are asked to contact the crisis line at 905-356-5800 to speak with a trained women's intervention advocate. Each crisis situation will be assessed and formal support will be provided based on the situation.

EventsNova Book Riot - takes place Mother's Day Weekend at the Niagara Falls Sportsplex at 3710 Sinnicks Ave in Niagara Falls. (Thu, May 9 - Sun, May 12, 2013) 
 
The Annual "Strike Out Violence" Bowling Tournament is partnered with the Niagara Regional Police and is being held on Friday, March 1, 2013 in recognition of International Women's Week. Bowling Tournament includes two games of bowling and a dinner reception. All proceeds support both the Welland and Niagara Falls shelters.  
 
Cut It Out -- Stop domestic violence in style. 
Participating salons from all over South Niagara will open their doors on a Sunday, offering their services at a discounted rate. 100% of the proceeds earned from this day will be donated to Women's Place of South Niagara to assist with daily operating costs.
