| Description | A non-profit, volunteer service delivering hot and/or frozen nutritious meals at a reasonable cost. Also provides a social contact and a security check on their well-being. A monthly lunch out program is also available. The purpose is to meet the nutritional status of the frail, elderly, convalescents, persons with disabilities & homebound people. The organization aims to assist those wishing to maintain independence in their own homes for as long as possible.
Hot meals are prepared at Gilmore Lodge, Long-Term Care Facility, Fort Erie. Frozen meals are prepared at Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Village, St Catharines. |
