| Description | LUNCH-OUT: Provides the opportunity for clients to get together on a regular basis to enjoy a meal and social activity. Transportation is available when required. Client fees. TRANSPORTATION: Provides volunteer drivers for rides to medical appointments, banking, grocery shopping. Five days notice required. Flat rate for local rides. Rates for out-of-local-area rides are based on actual mileage. VOLUNTEER VISITING: Volunteers visit with clients (seniors and adults with disabilities) in the client's home once a week for at least one hour providing friendship. The client and volunteer participate in activities that they both enjoy such as walking, talking, crafts & games. PHONE CHAT: Volunteers make short telephone calls on a regular basis to check on the client's well being and for a friendly chat. HOME MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR: Brokered workers provide home maintenance, gardening, grass cutting, snow shoveling, spring cleaning, major clean up etc. Workers charge fees for their services. HOMEMAKING: Regular cleaning, shopping, cooking, laundry and housekeeping support is available on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis. Reasonable fee charged.
